WHAT IS “LEND A HELPING HAND”?
The purpose of this program is to “lend a helping
hand” to women diagnosed with breast cancer and
under- going chemotherapy and/or radiation. |

home, job, and other responsibilities can be overwhelming.
The LBBCC’s goal is to provide a variety of
services designed to reduce some of the stress of daily
life. We will schedule services and underwrite
all costs.
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE PROGRAM
1. If you have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are
currently undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy
and have a doctor’s confirmation.
2. If you are a resident of the City of Long Beach, or
of a surrounding community.
3. When you sign a confidentiality and consent form.
